Alibag lies around 78 km from Mumbai and can be easily reached by road.
Mahabaleshwar
Nicknamed the ‘land of strawberries’ , this charming hill station in the western ghats is one of the best getaways in the monsoons. It is a popular holiday destination, especially for honeymooners with its evergreen forests and vast plateau surrounded by valleys on all sides. During the rainy season, the landscape turns lush green and offers many scenic spots for the visitors to enjoy. The waterfalls, springs and splendid climate add up to the wow factor of the destination.
Mahabaleshwar is known for its ‘scenic’ points, from where the wonderful natural landscape can be enjoyed; some of the famous points are Arthur’s seat, Kate’s Point, Needle hole Point and Wilson Point. Mahabaleshwar lies around 287 km from Mumbai and 120 Km from Pune. It is easily accessible by both Rail and Road.
