Andaman and Nicobar – The Emerald Islands!!

Andaman & Nicobar
The Andaman and Nicobar are a group of 394 islands in the Bay of Bengal in the southern end of India. The Andaman and Nicobar are two groups of islands with Andamans separated from the Nicobar group by a channel some 150 km (93 mi) wide. The Islands are popularly known as Emerald Islands as they look like emeralds in the ocean when viewed from the sky.
The Andaman group has 325 islands while the Nicobar group has only 24 islands. The Islands, due to their remote geographic location are blessed with pristine beaches, fragile coral reefs, unique tropical rainforest canopy, indigenous people and diverse fauna.
