Each room has a character of its own and so each time you visit, it unfolds newer charms. The cabana styled rooms have attached pools with a bar facility and perfect place to lounge and relax after a hard day or just splash around. For my daughter this was the high point of the trip she literally had to be pulled away from the pool even for the meals. Given a choice she would have eaten food underwater. The pool suites have private pools for each room an ideal setting for a romantic candlelit evening. The rooms are luxuriously appointed with space that is a throwback to palaces of yore. The furniture elegant, styling tasteful and many rooms having Jacuzzis of their own.
The idea of the non hotel came after meandering through the proposals of a bookstore similar to Barns and Nobles or a “Gentlemen’s Club” in Chandigarh. However owing to the non availability of the space and building design restrictions it could not take shape. In 2004 the land for this property was acquired and then a mall and a boutique non-hotel was conceived. The Mall will be launched in early 2013 having top designers displaying their stuff. It will be a complete lifestyle Mall targeting the upper segment. As GM Jaskirat Singh said “we are targeting the clientele from the hinterland of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal who go to Delhi for shopping”.

The GM Jaskirt Singh was a perfect example of opportunity created and realized. A management graduate from Lancaster University, he was quick to see the boom for hospitality industry in 2000. His idea took shape under the charismatic leadership of the Chairperson of the Contel group Mr Gurpreet Singh who see the dream turning into a reality called Bella Vista.
Bella Vista is a place where beautiful people will feel at home and indeed feel more beautiful. The place with its slowly unfolding charms can grow on you and become your favorite haunt.
