It’s the time of the year again. Yes you know what I’m talking about. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Yay! For the lucky ones who would no doubt be taking full advantage of this holiday but being nauseatingly cute with their partners. At this time of the year everyone’s heart is filled with love and expectations and they look for someone to share it with.
However for all you singles out there, instead of feeling sorry for yourself and sitting around mopping about (or even worse binge eating self bought chocolate) do something meaning full. This Valentine’s share your love with people who are in desperate need of it- Children with terminal conditions.
One place where I usually spend my time is with the children at the cancer care unit of AIIMS These children have been suffering through a bitter and harsh reality over which they had no control. Each day they suffer but keep persevering to hold on to life and somehow find a meaning in their life. If you as an outsider come to them to play, share and be friends with them, their life will have some happy moments to live o
