Chandragiri is a popular hamlet of Tirupati situated in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is worthy of mention that Chandragiri is also the southern foyer to the Temple city for motor vehicles plying from Kerala, Bangalore and Tamil Nadu. The Chandragiri Fort is positioned at Chandragiri which was in the ancient times the Capital city of the Vijayanagara Empire and is related with the Aravidu empire.
The fort can be visited anytime between, sunrise to sunset while the museum is open for visitors between 10 am to 5 pm. It is to be noted that Friday is a holiday where the museum and fort is closed for the tourists.
